Join us in celebrating International Week of Deaf People at Yale, September 21-27.
For nearly 70 years, International Week of Deaf People has brought Deaf communities and allies together to celebrate Deaf culture, advocate for linguistic rights, and increase awareness. The National Association of the Deaf, founded in 1880, is the nation’s oldest continuously operating civil rights organization and has long advocated for the recognition of sign languages and Deaf people’s linguistic and cultural rights.
