The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP), coordinated by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Defense, is now accepting applications! This program connects motivated college students, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities to federal and select private-sector employers for internships and permanent jobs.
Eligible students must qualify for Schedule A Hiring Authority, which applies to individuals with intellectual, severe physical, or psychiatric disabilities.
How to Apply:
- Visit WRP.gov and click “Students Register Now!”
- Registration is open through October 15, 2024, and all application materials must be submitted by October 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST.
Who Can Apply:
- U.S. citizens or nationals with a disability eligible under Schedule A.
- Students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs (substantially full-time) or recent graduates (on or after April 1, 2022).
To participate, applicants must register each year. Be sure to have your resume and transcript ready to complete your application on time.
